10/4/23 – Denver, Colorado

It was a packed house and a stacked lineup in Denver for the STICK TO YOUR GUNS “Diamond Anniversary Tour”. While it’s hard to believe that the album is 10 years old, it’s not hard to believe that it still stands strong. As a band STYG has been around for 20 years and has proven time and again that they are a force to be reckoned with. Their performance was nothing short of amazing. Performing the album front to back, it was very apparent that the fans were really excited for this. The crowd was ready to go when opening act SPIRIT WORLD hit the stage. Dressed in their best country western gear, they crushed it with their assault of heavy riffs and fiery vocals. SPIRIT WORLD are on my radar and I look forward to seeing what comes next for them. Next to take the stage by force was heavyweights ORTHODOX from Tennessee. ORTHODOX are no strangers to this venue. This night marked the fourth time they played the Marquis this year. And much like before they owned the stage and provided an intense performance from start to finish. Next on deck was Canadas finest COMEBACK KID. Every time these guys hit the stage they give it 100%. The passion and energy CBK give with each performance is truly amazing. It’s no wonder they continue to thrive in this scene after all these years. The entire vibe of the evening was awesome. From circle pits to stage dives to singalongs, this show had it all. Such a great group of bands and I am so glad this tour came through.
