If you’re a fan of dirty guitar tones and riff heavy grooves like I am, then you are certain to love the new album by Denver Powersludge band MESSIAHVORE – ‘TRANVERSE’. Released through Iron Head Records & Golden Robot Records, ‘TRANSVERSE’ is the follow up to the bands 2021 self titled release. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at The Crashpad Studio. Produced and engineered by a man of many talents, guitar and lead vocalist Bart McCrorey. Assisting Bart in this clinic of heavy riffing that is MESSIAHVORE, is Diz with his gritty Baritone guitar sound and vocals. The bringer of the low end is Jenn, who’s monster bass sound can be heard throughout the album. The thunderous drumming performance by Brokk is on point and as solid as they come. Together, this four piece provide us with a collection of 8 doomy, Dirt Rock tracks that will stimulate your ear holes and unfurl your mind.

It’s hard to really describe the MESSIAHVORE sound, because there are so many great influences. It’s a mixture of Doom, Stoner Rock, and Metal but with a hint of Blues, that any fan of heavy music can appreciate. You can experience the well crafted sounds of ‘TRANSVERSE’ through the bands Bandcamp page where you can purchase a CD or listen on any streaming platform. No matter what your method of listening is, the best way is to just crank up the volume and let the headbanging commence.
