Heavy melodic doom band Megatheria has released their debut album ‘Gateway’. The instrumental 3 piece made up of Matt(Bass) David(Drums) & Marc(Guitar) have created a 5 song sound journey. Let thy riffs be your guide as each track is an opportunity to let your mind open and be taken away into deep thought and emotion. With powerful builds that deliver, to the very smooth melodic lulls, the album flows from beginning to end with no fillers. For fans of heavy fuzz tones you will be sure to dig on this.
The overall sound of the album is killer. That credit goes to Pete de Boer who recorded, mixed, and mastered at World Famous Studios. The amazing cover illustration was done by Annika Weidner. While the Color & Layout are by Marc Christoforidis. The album is currently available on all streaming platforms and the option to purchase a CD is on the bands Bandcamp page. Perhaps a vinyl version will be in the near future? One can hope. Either way, go give it a listen and see for yourself how good it is. I for one am looking forward to hearing these songs live.
